European cement: emissions, plants and trade

European cement emissions fell 24% from 2020 to 2025.Verified emissions across 297 clinker plants fell from 115.5 Mt in 2020 to 88.0 Mt in 2025. Free allocation is phasing out as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism takes effect.
